It has been an exciting year for the Book Arts Collection & there is much new work to see and handle. Don't miss this chance to visit and get inspired. See what your colleagues are doing all over the country. See the newest work of artists whose work you admire. Hear about the projects that the Book Arts Collection is involved in & that are upcoming.
See Julie Chen's new book, amazing pieces from Maureen Cummins, Tamar Stone & Karen Hanmer;moving work by Fred Hagstrom, Brighton & Foolscap Presses. There are books with buttons [Angela Lorenz], artists' books, fine press, innovative bindings, sculptural work and a few historic pieces as well--we have them all!!
There will be a brief formal business meeting so we can continue the yearly business of the Guild. The Board will be voted on and we'll give you some clues about our upcoming lectures and workshops for 2011.
