What’s a Wayzgoose? The origin of the word is fuzzy, as it could be a misspelling of “wasegoose” from Middle English for “harvest goose.” Or, it could come from the Dutch term “wegshuis,” a roadside banquet hall. Some say it’s a reference to “Waes” in Belgium. Whatever. Today, Wayzgoose means: “Traditional late summer feast and frivolity to honor printers to mark the return of work-by-candlelight conditions.” There will be no roast goose at SVC’s Wayzgoose, but frivolity will be in abundance.

SVC's 15th Annual Wayzgoose is returning to its roots: a party by letterpress printers and the people who love them. Here’s what you’ll find at this year’s celebration:
