 Sarah Melching is a paper conservator in private practice, for ten years as Pacific Northwest Paper Conservation Services Inc., in Seattle. She specializes in treatment of art on paper, archival materials, and photographs. Prior to that, Sarah held institutional positions including the Fine Arts Museum of  San Francisco, National Gallery of Canada, and Library of Congress. She is a graduate of the Art Conservation Program at Queens University, Kinston, Canada. Sarah is an active member of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and Western Association of Art Conservation (WAAC).
