For the first time in 13 years, the School of Visual Concepts‘ annual Wayzgoose & Steamroller Smackdown will take place at the South Lake Union Block Party on August 8, from noon to 6pm. As always, this free and family-friendly celebration of letterpress printing will feature plein air poster printing, a letterpress marketplace, and the Steamroller Smackdown. Flock to the Wayzgoose facebook page for the latest! At the Steamroller Smackdown, witness top artists and design teams hit the parking lot in a friendly competition to print oversized posters with the hefty help of a two-ton steamroller instead of a traditional printing press.
