April 18, 1988 | Book Arts Exhibition Opening
Spruce Street School presents "Bookworks" an exhibition of handmade bookworks by students and artists of the book including BAG members Neal Bonham, Suzanne Ferris, Peter Fisher, Don Guyot, Jim Koss & Margaret Sahlstrand. This was a great opportunity to attract a whole different group of people to see artists' books.

Enid Mark will talk about her work and show slides. Based in Wallingford, PA, Enid publishes her artists' books under the ELM Press imprint. On Thursday she will discuss her recent book pieces, The Bewildering Thread and An Afternoon at Le Collettes. Meeting will be in OUGL Room 220. Read more...

As part of the exhibition "Personal Form: Books & the Artist" BAG members Jim Koss & Mare Blocker will speak about their work. Both artists are featured in the exhibition that draws from work in the Book Arts Collection at the University of Washington. The announcement postcard by Jim Koss has a unique image on each one.
