We also wish to thank our wonderful web developer Matthew Fordham. We could not have done it without you.

September 30, 2008 | Enid Mark passes
Internationally known book artist Enid Mark, ELM Press, based in Philadelphia died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 of the complications of cancer after a difficult year. Enid had done a number of lectures and workshops for the BAG and joined the group some 20 years ago. She has many fans and friends in the group. There was a memorial service Thursday, October 2.
Enid did books under the ELM Press imprint. The University of Washington Libraries is one of the very few institutions having all the ELM Press books. In 2007, it was Sandra Kroupa’s pleasure to curate a retrospective of her work in "A PASSION FOR WORD & IMAGE: BOOKS BY ENID MARK", an exhibition of limited editions and prints in Suzzallo/Allen Library, Room 102 and Special Collections Lobby, March 12-May 28, 2007. Her husband Gene says it was her favorite of the three one-person exhibits she had in the last five years. Enid's work was unique in the field and her creative spark will be missed terribly. If you want to know about her work, see her website: http://www.theelmpress.com/ or make an appointment with Sandra to see the work in person.
