Bonnie Thompson Norman, The Windowpane Press

I love having a printing press! It helps me to say the things that matter to me...politically, sentimentally, creatively...in whatever way seems right at the moment. I try to bring the best skills and techniques I have to printing and making books. But it is always the thought that counts

Chandler O'Leary, Anagram Press

Handwork is a key element of my visual vocabulary. The dialogue between the eye and hand creates a direct, human connection to the conceptual aspects of my work; it allows me to bring together drawing, design, craftsmanship and storytelling to create a cohesive visual record of reality. Hand-rendered lettering, pattern and illustration dominate my work, creating a conceptual framework for the narrative within each piece.

Jenny Craig, Notta Pixie Press

I like to play when I work, so I experiment a great deal. I also have a pro-letterpress personality, which means I like to do tedious tasks in order to achieve a high standard of quality. My work focuses on small histories, mythologies, and odd rituals of everyday life.

Katy Gilmore

In my work – whether paintings or book arts I often paint and draw ordinary things – particularly flowers from life. I frequently record the changing seasons in some form. My blog: http://katygilmore.wordpress.com/ is about my search for art in the everyday – with drawings and writings – it often seems an electronic illustrated book to me.
