Lynne Kelly is a book artist who lives at the base of Mt Index. When she is not getting ink and glue all over everything, she is out in her garden or riding her horse or working as a Legal Nurse Consultant to get money for more art supplies. Lynne enjoys making small replicas of buildings and incorporating books (both hidden and obvious) into the building structure, and her books can be seen at various galleries in the Pacific Northwest and on her website.
Limited edition and unique artists' books, since 1979
I have taught bookbinding for 25 years and helped start a Book Arts Guild in Portland which sponsored a biennial conference and a national juried book show for 20 years. I have shown my hand made books in various shows across the country--both juried and invitational, and have authored a book, “How To Make A Book Even If You Think You Can’t.” I currently operate a book arts supply store, the Accidental BookMaker, and web page, Green Heron Book Arts, and teach from my studio in Forest Grove, Oregon.
